Hi, my name is Tara O. I host a radio show (The Best in British Music Show) on the best indie and new music out of the UK and have an associated blog where I've got a bunch on interviews with some great bands, including Elbow! It's great to see the support this band gets from its fans here, they certainly deserve it.

My first post here is to post the interview I just did with Pete Turner. Hopefully I'll be able to post another interview if I get to talk to them again at Bestival (fingers crossed...).

my name is anne, i'm 24, and i live in the netherlands.I deliver the mail in daily life,and i'm a huge music fan.I fell in love with elbow 2 years ago,and after finally seeing them on pinkpop this year,they gave in to all my expectations.It was so amazing!So i had to see them again,so i'm flying to manchester in 2,5 weeks Smile

Other favorite bands are muse,beirut,patrick watson,radiohead,dEUS and many more.

hullo to all, i'm a great big elbow fan from all the way in Ireland. Since I purchased asleep in the back nigh on 8 years ago I've been preaching the word of elbow to anyone who will listen. The most marvellous, uplifting band that can be listened to anywhere at anytime no matter what the mood is. I've love many bands, beatles, smiths, radiohead, manics, bowie, kinks.........and many a dj and other genre but elbow is the one group that have truly become my group. I'll ne'er have a bad word said about them!

I was incredibly upset when I realised that I had missed out on being born in either Ireland or Wales, and in turn, having an awesome accent.

In theory, I am more Welsh than English, but I couldn't do the accent to save my life. Everyone in England likes to think they can do a decent Irish or Scottish accent, i'm sure the Scottish and Irish get sick of it.

On another note, it seems like a lot of Americans love the English accent, but sadly they call it a "British" accent.
