Favourite 'stand out' gigs of the year would have to be.........

Inspiral Carpets - Hebden Bridge Trades Club
Chameleons Vox - Sound Control (struggling currently, with a moshpit induced swollen ankle from Saturday's gig)
Ren Harvieu - Manchester Ritz
Ultrasound - Manchester Ruby Lounge

In 2012 I've bought a lot of albums that have been out years rather than new releases.

Of the new releases I'd probably say.....

'Bloom' by Beach House
'Play For Today' by Ultrasound
'El Camino' by Black Keys
