Grounds for divorce was on a makeshift add for a new alcohol called 'Prism' on the final of The Apprentice last night.

The ad was horrific!!

Didn't think that "Grounds For Divorce" was a good choice of song to launch a new alcoholic drink

So, Elbow have now been responsible for losing the World Cup bid and the final of The Apprentice within the space of a couple of weeks?!

*sharp intake of breath* You'll be saying it's Guy's fault Sundays become dreaded Monday mornings next.

Setting the GFD video in a bar must've sunk into the collective subconscious way more than expected...

Terry Christian, god bless him, couldn't remember the name of Elbow's 2008 Mercury Award Winning Album on Celebrity Mastermind last night. His specialist subject was "The Manchester Music Scene 1977 -2010"

Maybe that explains why the Pride Of Manchester website: Terry Christian's Guide to Manchester Music says "Terry's biography of Elbow coming soon..."

Terry came last by the way, but he's still one of the good guys as far as I'm concerned

As much as i love this song, I think it should be banded from being used on TV all the time! XD

To be honest, the same goes for mirrorball, and ESPECIALLY 1day like this. Way over played on BBC. fook sake, use a different elbow song for once!

G4D was also used on an ITV program called 'May The Best House Win'. Late afternoon veg out material where there are either 4 or 5 contestants visit each others properties, then score them out of 10. I was up late last night and found myself humming to a new Apple Ad, perhaps for the Ipad 2, they are using an instrumental version of 'Open Arms'

This tune is going to mammoth, I can feel it in my waters.

I was in a bar (for a work meeting, honest) at about 5:40 last night and the TV was on in the corner on Sky Sports News (HD) and they played an advertisment for build a rocket boys.
