Elbow Merchandise

Just been having a look at the elbow merchandise on the official website. They've started selling 'build a rocket boys' Airfix kits. For £20, you get a self-assembly scale model of a Saturn 5 rocket, but instead of NASA decals, you get small versions of the sticker set that is already on sale. A brilliant idea! I may get one.

I think it must have been suggested to them by Professor Brian Cox.

I'm having flashbacks to building airfix models as a kid.... always started off okay til it got to
the fiddly bits - then blooming glue everywhere / squint transfers / dodgy paint jobs

I nearly got fooled by Marmite flavoured lip balm .... Talk about gullible!

Before I get round to merging this gag thread with the real merch one, I might as well roll out another product prototype: Oliver 'enlisted' us as accomplices in getting these made up into action figures yesterday.



Think they'd also be ace as a more girly option rendered as paper dress-up dolls with full range of stage wear and collection of hats for Pete. Having them as a collect-and-keep set on the back of Weetabix packets and stuck on lollipop sticks, optional.

Well Oliver's version of Craig and Mark are easy enough, almost exactly the same, only Craig is taller.
Craig figure gets the first dance action in the animation, I see he is whisked off is seat by the ribbon people.
Must be amazing to see your drawings come to life by animators

Actually, I have a thing about buying concert t-shirts etc if you haven't actually attended the event...

Well, I would have another hint for merch stuff: turn the Lush-Lemmings into Elbow-Lemmings. I tried to find those at livingpuppets.de (a german!) but they did not know what I mean and I didn't wanted to link the only visible video in Germany because I don't want to allure the GEMA blokes who surely would block it too
