Elbow on Album Chart Show 06/03/11

Unfortunately didn't see this post or the mention of it on the website until 8 hours after the show was broadcast What's the point in Elbow appearing on the Album Chart Show to promote their album if the record company doesn't let the potential buyers (i.e. mailing list) know they're on it. Not many people are going to stumble upon a show broadcast at 00:15 on a Sunday night.

We missed it too, so keeping eyes peeled for a repeat. Luckily, the show IS available on 4OD.

Watched it on 4OD with a slow internet connection. It's not the same and there are other reasons for wanting to "watch" it on tv

We want to "watch" it on TV as well.

It should be possible to view the 4OD re-run on TV via a media player plugged into the TV's extra AV channel. Once it's going in through AV3, anything could happen...

It's all very complicated. I shall consult with my technical adviser...

I was a little disappointed in it...
They only broadcast 4 songs, of which one was GFD and one was ODLT.
I know they kinda have to put those in for commercial reasons, but on a purely selfish level I was dying to hear some more of the new stuff...

I agree - I also missed the banter that goes on in between songs. Still, it was their usual epic performance.

I just watched it on 4OD with my 12 year old beside me. ODLT came on and Alex said 'Ohh, this is my favourite'. Big smile on Dads face, only to realise she was in fact talking about her Paramore album on her mp3 player which she was listening to during Elbow. Curse that child
