Guy Garvey says new Elbow album is out in Spring. Final stages will be inspired by birth of bassist Pete's baby, Martha born on Friday

Another baby for the growing Elbow family! It'll be interesting to see what sort of effect it will have on the album.

Our youngest daughter has just started at Manchester University...we are so proud of her (and our other 2)
The house feels empty Crying or Very sad

the last 20 years has been the most brilliant, lovely, rewarding, noisy, expensive, loving, challenging, frightening, fantastic and wondeful time of our lives.

When our kids were little my nan (being older and wiser than us) used to say " your times with your children are the best times of your life"
She was dead right, enjoy every minute Pete
