At the Elbow gig I was at (Birmingham) Guy said they were lucky to have such a brilliant job, which basically involved wobbling air for a living. With lots of Solidarity references etc. the Air Wobblers' Union was formed and all the singalongs (ahem I mistyped "ginalongs" there - should have left it in!) involved us being asked to wobble some air of our own. I assumed other "branches" of the AWU would have been formed at other gigs, and that's what your avatar referred to (apart from being an anagram) - the air wobbling concept is such a nice one.

I'll interject again with a sample of my shuffle! Just had Zwitter by Rammstein, now got Behind the Lines by Genesis, next got Siberian Khatru live from Yes's Yessongs! It's been a good shuffle... but hell, it's always good!

ooh, I like that mix too. I did a bootleg/mashup thingy of the original Phantom with Walk The Dinosaur by Was Not Was, but I haven't released it yet for fear of being arrested by the cheese police.

hahaha, the Air Wobblers' Union. I like that. My avatar's just a spooky coincidence - I just liked how the word "Elbow" was "wob(b)le" backwards... but I'd like to join the union!

Come to think of it the gig was after you joined - I can't remember did you always have that Avatar? Perhaps you started a movement.
